Yes, from one layer...took the blue and green out of another. Once I turned the red channel's blending mode to "difference" it looked normal again. Then I applied the depth map to each layer.
I use Photoshop CS2, though I've been told that a program called "Gimp" can also be used..as I'm sure many other graphic programs can. I learned how to do this by following this excellent tutorial: [link] and through trial and error I've learned a few tricks along the way.
